Personal Lines - Powered by VIU By HUB

MIA Share is 50% of what ever the carrier's standard commissions are with HUB, then you get 80% of that. Carriers typically pay anywhere from 10-15 percent for new and renewal business.

Commercial Lines - National Sales Teams(NSTs)

NST's pay anywhere from 7-20% for new and renewal commissions. They charge anywhere from 1-2 commission points for their customer service center. Commissions vary by carrier and the type of products they sell.

2. Welcome Email in 24–48 Hours

You’ll receive a personal Welcome Email with your onboarding details and first steps.

3. Onboarding Portal + Agent Toolkit

You’ll get access to your MIA Agent Portal, Marketing Hub, and Referral Partner Hub. Everything you need to start strong.

4. Website + e-Business Card Setup

Where you can upload your photo, logo, contact info, etc., to create your branded consumer-facing website and digital e-business card will be activated, so you can start sharing your brand right away.

Do I need an office or staff?

No. Unlike traditional models that require an office lease and staff just to get started, MIA is fully digital. You can launch and operate from anywhere.

Do I need to have my own agency already set up?

No. We’ll guide you through the basics. Many agents begin solo.

Do I need experience or a long licensing history?

Not at all. As long as you’re licensed and motivated, you’re a fit.

Do I own my book of business?

Yes. You retain renewal rights for all business you originate.

Do I have binding authority?

No. Quoting and binding are handled by licensed carrier teams.

What tools do I need to run my business?

We provide branded landing pages, referral links, templates, and more.

Is this available in my state?

Yes! We operate nationally.

How fast can I start earning?

As fast as your first referral. Since MIA handles the quoting and servicing, there’s no waiting months for carrier approvals or office setup.

Can I sell or transfer my book later?

Yes. You own your book. You can transfer it to a family member, team member, or sell it to a qualified buyer. We even give you a 30-day separation option — no exit fees, no stake in your business.

Will I earn commissions on cross-sold policies?

Yes. Anytime a national partner cross-sells additional policies to your clients, you earn the commission on those policies as well.

What kind of support do my clients get after I refer them?

Once you refer a client, they’ll be contacted by a licensed advisor through our partner platforms. These advisors provide professional quoting, binding, and renewal support — often with extended weekday hours. Your clients are well taken care of, and you get the credit.

Do I need carrier appointments to join MIA?

No. With MIA, you don’t need to secure carrier appointments or meet production minimums. Our national partners handle the quoting, binding, and servicing, so you can focus on growth.

Do I need to be licensed to join?

Yes. You’ll need a valid P&C insurance license to participate in the MIA Agent Program.

Can I refer clients in multiple states?

Yes! This is a national platform, you can refer clients in all 50 states. You do need to hold a license in any non-resident state in order to receive commissions. If you are operating as an LLC or Corporation, that entity will also need to hold a license in any state you wish to receive commissions in.
